A Sweet Ending to the Term for the Girls’ Club
The Girls’ Club brought the term to a delightful close with a warm and memorable final session filled with laughter, learning, and – most deliciously – pancakes! The atmosphere was festive as the girls enjoyed stacks of soft, golden pancakes topped with a unique peppermint caramel filling that was as creative as it was tasty.
But the day wasn’t just about treats. As part of their commitment to personal development and practical life skills, the session also featured a hands-on lesson in table etiquette. The girls had the opportunity to learn the art of setting a table correctly, understanding the placement of plates, glasses, and various types of cutlery. They explored the purpose of each utensil, from soup spoons to dessert forks, and even practiced the dos and don’ts of polite dining behaviour.
This thoughtful combination of fun and skill-building encapsulated the spirit of the Girls’ Club: a space where learners grow in confidence, develop useful life skills, and build friendships along the way.
We are proud of the progress the girls have made this term and look forward to more enriching and enjoyable sessions next term!
