In the early hours of the morning, at 2am, Mr Ferreira received a call to assist a family who had found a snake inside their home. He safely removed a red lipped herald, a completely harmless species.
Before releasing the snake back into the wild, Mr Ferreira brought it to school to show the Grade 1 learners. They were fascinated as they got the chance to see and even gently touch the snake while learning an important lesson — not all snakes are venomous, but we should never try to touch one on our own. 🐍✨
